This is a big briar, make no doubt of it. However, it's also one with a very compact style, packing in a whole lot of mass into a shape that's actually a fair deal shorter than my Dunhill Group 5 bent Dublin. The result is that while it's certainly no pocket pipe, it does remain very handy - short, and lightly-balanced. The extra-broad-bodied bowl also happens to allow for that much more room to display both a great ring grain, and loads of lovely birdseye.
