Smooth Rhodesian (CCCC) Tobacco Pipe

Most Cavicchi smooth briars emphasize flame grain, and while there's certainly plenty of that wherever the shape of this extra-broad, low-slung Rhodesian allows it, it's clearly the birdseye that's meant to stand front-and-center here. As it so happens, it does indeed do a fine job of that, even though Claudio seems to have used an intentionally muted, albeit still richly golden finish up top, producing a beautifully mellow effect.
