Making between 150 and 200 pipes annually, Jess Chonowitsch has been making pipes since the mid-1960s. Though Jess' training as a pipe maker began with Poul Rasmussen, it culminated with Sixten Ivarsson. Today, Jess is unquestionably one of the world's greatest pipe makers. His perfectionism and insightful, artful shaping combine to create truly extraordinary pipes. Jess' pipes are the stuff of legends in the pipe world, and deservedly so.
