We often think of the Canadian as a robust, straightforward, and as a result, quite masculine shape, but there's no mistaking the feminine nature of this Asteriou rendition's beauty. As lengthy, lean, and fine-boned as a catwalk model, and sporting a trim bowl and soft, Danish-style smoothness to both the heel and transition, it is one truly impressive bit of shaping. As you might expect, the feel in hand is a combination of pure, uncluttered smoothness and downright ethereal lightness, though Chris did make sure to work in both plenty of depth in to the chamber, and respectably substantial walls. That is to say, this briar's not only a gorgeous example of artisan-grade aesthetic design, but also practically engineered as well.
