Don Carlos: Notturno Bolero Cherrywood
Product Number: 002-124-0069
The Bolero shape is the predecessor of the Kronos, something you can see reflected in the bowl design and distinctive mount of each. The Kronos is, in essence, the modern and eclectic, while the Bolero represents the classic, a theme carried over into their names (the Kronos being named after the Kronos Quartet, and the Bolero after the fast-tempo Spanish dance).
Lean and elegant, this Cherrywood design was the very first Bruto Sordini ever created as a special request. Light in hand, comfortable to clench, and offering up a deep chamber of good breadth, combined with the design's simply great style, it wowed even the collector who originally pitched the idea to Bruto.
