Rusticated Semicroma

Product Number: 002-124-0079

A fitting theme for Don Carlos, this shape is one Bruto Sordini calls the Semicroma, or 16th note. As that would be one played quick, I suspect it's no coincidence that the bowl-shape bears more than a little resemblance to his Disamara, a design he created for enjoying while riding a motorcycle. (Bruto, it should be noted, is known for doing so with a generous application of the throttle.) Of course, it doesn't hurt that said bowl shape also bears more than a passing similarity to the head of a musical note as well. Quick as the name may be, and fast as this shape may look, I was surprised to find this briar nonetheless sits very well.
