Massimiliano Rimensi is an Italian pipemaker, but stylistically speaking his creations range across multiple schools. His real stand-out skill, in fact, is his ability to do so, so very well. In this case, for example, we have what is clearly a Danish-style design, seamlessly smooth and softly rounded, and, really, the final result is on par with what you'd expect from an artisan who concentrated only
on Danish designs. And of course, aside from the skillful shaping, he's also, as you can see, done one spectacular job of making the most out of the briar's potential for beautiful flame grain and birdseye alike.
