A light yet particular nice ring grain rolls out from the transition of this Shell briar, rising up the flanks of the bowl to cover the entire forward face. Aside from that, there is of course also a horn mount - a hard to miss rarity amongst Dunhills. This old English marque only makes one batch of horn-accented briars a year; their frequent appearance on our site of late has only been due to our having acquired a good chunk of the last one. Previously, even we were lucky to see two in a whole year.
