The venerable Dunhill pot, it's difficult to get more classic English than this. As is the case for so many English shapes, Dunhill's version serves as the archetype, as the defining shape. Indeed, while one can appreciate variations on an idea, there's something almost comforting about holding an original. I am pleasantly surprised to see that this dapper Group 3 was outfitted with a saddle bit. On the 08 shape, tapered bits outnumber the saddle by 3:1, something a bit distressing for this fan of the former.
