About This Pipe
While I have never discounted the notion that Dunhill's very first pipe design, the "windshield" pipe, could have that most novel of front executions applied to shapes other than the billiard, I'll be darned if I have ever seen one. until now, that is. This Cumberland 4204, a shape that I would normally refer to as a "template" straight bulldog, features a rear cut-away which helps to shield the tobacco chamber from the overheating effects of front-to-back air movement (like when driving in a convertible). Part of me wants to try out this design while riding my Harley. The other part of me realizes that the most likely outcome of attempting to do so would be to wind up looking like Manuel Noriega.
