A novel variation on the Elephants Foot shape, this Alex Florov design produces a lighter, more flourishing impression, in a composition which obviously puts a lot of concentration on line over form. The aggressive sweep and jut of the bowl's forward face, combined with the steeply canted rim and fine taper of the bowl, is daring... and yet, this is actually a very practical design, functioning quite soundly as a sitter.
