Now this is an interesting little number from Gabriele. At first blush it's merely a rather exotic looking bent Apple, however, a second, more detailed observation shows us a rather thoughtful side panel on the pipe's right side that swooshes down to the base of the shank, adding to the overall composition all the while an extra hint of easy finesse. And take a closer look at the shank accent; I first thought it a long piece of vulcanite to match the stem. But it's not; it's one of the darkest examples of horn I've yet seen. This pipe is all about the double-take.
