The "Bodog" is not only a tribute to the late, widely-renowned pipemaking artisan Bo Nordh, but also an improvement upon his original design. Though sleekly gorgeous, supple and dynamic, the original produced by Bo Nordh had considerable drawbacks as an actual smoking instrument, due to the combination of canted posture, fine, supple transition, and cylindrical chamber leaving very little material towards the rear-lower face of the bowl. Love and Sarah solved this problem through a simple solution, that of drilling the chamber with a precise taper. The resulting pipes feature all the grace, precision, and dramatic energy of of line and form found in Bo Nordh's original, in a briar that serves as a fine smoker, too.
