Love Geiger is known for his inventive design, but he also has a way of turning a playful title for his shapes as well. Thus are we presented with the "Drunken Dubliner," a rolling, good-naturedly, asymmetrically tipsy take on the old Dublin shape. And though asymmetrical it may be, this is in actually one very precisely-rendered bit of design - dramatically precarious when viewed head-on, but deceptively straight and sober from up top, where it gives away only the subtlest, slightest lilting curve along the length of the stummel. It's easy to miss if you aren't paying close attention, especially with all that gorgeous birdseye hanging out to seduce one's wandering glance.
