Peter Heeschen exercises a much subtler hand than most artisans, when it comes to asymmetry in Blowfish designs. Here the line defining the the left flank tucks in a little closer at the forward edge, balanced out by the right flank's rear edge pulling a touch farther back - and that's about all. Aside from this greater symmetry creating a more "design" composed, rather than organic aesthetic, it also creates a pipe that's more consistent between being held in either the left or right hand. As for how well Peter handled setting up a proper display for the briar's grain, the photos speak for themselves.
