Freehand meets Dublin meets Blowfish in this bizarre and complex design by Kevin Arthur, a veritable imbroglio of briar, slashing, leaping lines, and juxtaposed forms. Despite that great complexity of shaping, Kevin has managed to keep it quite controlled and deliberate throughout, with neat borders where the contrasting stains meet, and a careful sandblast throughout. That latter of which, when combined with the numerous surfaces created by the wild shaping of the briar, presents a staggering amount of ring grain.
