In keeping with the Goose motif, LAnatra grades its pipes based upon the number of eggs:

Rusticated or Sandblasted
One Egg:	Flame Grain Smooth, small pits (no fills, of course)
Two Egg:	Tighter grain, cleaner wood, generally lighter stain
Three Egg:	Approaching straight grain, very clean wood, generally light stain.
One Egg Fiamatta:	Straight grain
Two Egg Fiamatta:	Extremely tight straight grain
Three Egg Fiamatta:	Extremely tight straight grain and otherwise particularly exceptional
