L'Anatra makes a lot of briars with an artful, Pesaro-influenced look about them, albeit also typically with a heavy dose of their own unique and elegant approach to flow, form, and line. They also make some very fine classic designs with English-style proportions. All together this means that, oddly enough, designs more readily defined as being in the traditional Italian neoclassical style - basic classic shapes, but with bigger bowls and typically stouter shanks as well - tend to be the rarest sort you see from L'Anatra. Nonetheless, here's one now: a big straight Apple offering up a serious amount of chamber, and, as it so happens, loads of ring grain, too.
