A devastating loss to the pipe community, Lars Ivarsson passed away on February 11th, 2018. We have left his category visible on the website, though, to honor his memory and to celebrate the wonderful pipes he made.

Lars Ivarsson holds a legendary position in the world of high grade pipes. Like his father Sixten, Lars' influence on the progression and aesthetics of the modern Danish pipe cannot be overstated. His influence aside, Lars' masculine, organic style is as subtle as it is sophisticated. Further, his dedication to making perfectly engineered, perfectly finished pipes is extraordinary, yielding many of the finest pipes made today.
