Talk of minimalism of form, clean, spare lines, and the influence of Austrian Architecture on the shaping styles of both Gregor Lobnik, and his teacher Peter Matzhold, can easily drift into sounding all-too-serious. But then you turn up a charming little briar like this, which although executed very much in the aforementioned style, ultimately presents an aesthetic that is absolutely playful from top to bottom. This is the kind of pipe that, quite frankly, just seems to be shouting "Hold me, it will be fun!
" Followed, of course, with a mischievous wink. Having indeed had the chance to hold this graceful, high-kicking, compactly curvaceousness little number for a spell, all I can say is: she ain't lyin'.
