The low-slung Dublin is a curious creature. It illustrates how one simple change, such as squashing down the shape of a tapered Dublin bowl, can radically change a pipe's character, its look, and its feel. The lower, proportionally wider chamber will smoke differently than your standard Dublin (such proportions better-suited to bring out the flavors of Latakia blends, according to many), and the lower, wider bowl will cause you to even hold the pipe differently, effecting the way you interact with it. This particular specimen sports some pretty decent birdseye up top, as well as a lot of wild flame grain.
