It's pretty obvious these introductory series for the revamping of Luciano's shape and series line-up are something very different for the marque; light, long, and slender stemmed, with style that's clearly Japanese rather than Italian in inspiration. Not everything has changed, however, from what I've seen. I've never spotted a fill on an "old Luciano" briar, and I've yet to see evidence of even one on any of these, either. But then I suppose that's only to be expected, as Luca diPiazza has informed us that these new lines have in fact received a bump up when it comes to the briar used, and are being made only from aged plateau.
Included with this pipe is an organic cotton sleeve, technical paper about the pipe, and a large designer pipe pouch.
