I'm so used to seeing Luciano as a producer of rather solid, thickly proportioned briars, that the first time I saw this unusually slender-stemmed Rhodesian design, I did a double-take. The exceptionally wide, saucer-like bowl is also a novel turn by Luciano standards, as its low-profile renders it overall quite a bit less square in proportion than expected. It also allows the pipe to "sit" very steadily.
