Certainly if I've seen a pipe that qualifies as a "nose warmer," it is this fat little briar. Much shorter and it wouldn't have a shank; much chubbier and it would likely roll off my desk. As it stands, it's a pleasingly rounded pipe, very soothing in hand, and one that actually "sits" surprisingly well, in a weebles-wobble-but-they-won't-fall-down kind of way.
