This Luciano Bulldog variation follows fairly closely in theme and proportions to their similarly low-slung Rhodesian. There are some key differences, of course: The diamond shank is thicker than the Rhodesian's, as would be necessary given the nature of a squared cross-section; the underside of the bowl meets in a point, rather than being rounded; lastly, the bead is set higher and the rim shaved down shorter, giving a broader rim and the illusion of a shorter, heavier bowl, while actually maintaining the same chamber proportions.
