One of the things I like about Lucianos is that they don't use fills - at least, I can't recall ever finding any. I prefer natural flaws be left as they are, and that briar remain all
briar. In sandblasts, like this neoclassical Lovat, I feel the bit of nooks and crannies just add character. The shaping is sound here: a straightforward, traditional Italian rendition of an age-old design, differing from an English rendition mainly in sporting a larger, fuller bowl, along with the extra bit of chamber that comes with it.
