For some time Sykes has been wanting to have another Smokingpipes-exclusive special edition that we could offer our customers. As it so happened, Luca di Piazza was more than willing to have his Luciano workshop make just such a series of briars for us. And, wouldn't you know it, there we had one of the most talented American pipemakers to be found sitting right in our own pipe library - he works here, you see. What stands before you now is the result: the limited edition Davidson Design Bell, produced by Luciano exclusively for Smokingpipes. It's quite a bold departure from the style, and particularly proportions, Adam usually works in, but since it would be coming from an Italian workshop, he wanted to make something properly Italian. With a good and healthy bit of body, and some serious chamber too, Adam's design nonetheless produces a graceful and charmingly feminine aesthetic - shapely yet refined, as opposed to stout and muscular.
