Though his own briars are usually lighter, smaller pieces, Adam didn't shy away from playing with full Italian-style proportions when designing this exclusive, special-edition Bell shape for Luciano and Smokingpipes - indeed this stout, yet gracefully composed number sports some serious chamber capacity, on par with a good-sized Stack. Typically you would expect something with such a short, thick shank and deep transition to come off as rather heavy and muscular, but Adam's use of a high-set rim, with a pronounced, yet smooth, concave taper (and combined with the overall seamless style of curvature that's at play) actually lends the Bell quite an articulated, feminine look for all its healthy substance.
This particular example, 14 of 50, is finished a deeply smoky, extra-dark style.
