Nomenclature (note regarding smooths: I've seen excellent, very straight grain on a 3B-- when they say straight grain, they really mean it):

Grades/Finishes (from lowest to highest)
OB:	Dark Rustic
OC:	Light Rustic
OB Unica:	Partial Dark Rustication on Smooth Light Pipe
1B	Dark Sandblast
1C	Light Sandblast (unusual, this was a more common finish ten years ago)
2C	Partially Rusticated or Sandblasted
2D	Same as 2C except with better grain
Ruber	Red finish
Nera	Granite or Black finish
3A	Dark Smooth
3B	Natural Smooth
3C	Natural Smooth with more Straight Grain
Fiamatta 1 Sole	Very Straight Grain
Fiamatta 2 Sole	Unusually shaped or grained 'Fiamatta 1 Sole'
Fiamatta 3 Sole	Extraordinarily rare; perhaps 3 or 4 made every decade. Superlative quality in both grain and shape.
