Taking a lot of inspiration from the charming old Comoy's approach to this shape shape, with perhaps a touch of Danish (S. Bang?) influence in the treatment of the muscularly proportioned, yet gently flowing shank, Michael Lindner just really, really nails these handy, compact little Author designs. Just holding one of these briars is pleasing enough as a tactile experience alone, much less smoking one, and in this example he throws in a fine bit flame grain for good measure.
