Yes, that is vulcanite. I'll admit I was a bit uncertain at first as well, and so of course wandered off to find Adam and confirm it. And I'll admit it is pretty interesting how much a simple change of color can effect your impression of a material - we all know vulcanite is softer on the teeth than acrylic, but in its typical jet-black or cumberland variations, it doesn't look
particularly soft. In this mellow shade and hue, somewhere between peanut butter and peach, however, it looks downright gentle and comforting. Fittingly enough, Michael paired it up to a broad, smooth Pot design, a stout-walled design that proves every bit as easy and comforting in hand, and which is sure to provide a nice, gentle warmth when smoked.
