This plateau-base sitter displays well Michal Novak's penchant for creating designs of (very) considerable mass, which nonetheless are rendered in a style that is anything but static. There is a lot of substance to this briar - a whole lot. But all that substance is used effectively to back the sweeping and leaning lines, and his signature flying edges, with tons of momentum. Of course, all that extra briar also happens to allow for more canvas upon which to show off all this pieces contrastingly fine-stranded, angel-hair flame grain as well.
