The overwhelming majority of Scoop shapes that I've seen have been modestly-sized numbers rendered in pale, lightweight meerschaum. This Michal Novak is something completely different. It's a big one, presenting a mass and sense of momentum on par with that of a Streamline Moderne locomotive. This would be one very dynamic composition if left just at that, but, Michal being Michal, didn't leave it just at that. Coming in with a dash of lighter, more agile motion, are his signature flying edges, sweeping along the whole length of the shape on the left, and diving and soaring down and up the bowl on the right.
