Originating as the "Deerstalker" from the Sherlock Holmes series, the "XL14" is a sizable, and very unique, take on the classic Rhodesian. It would seem almost to have incorporated elements of the Danish modern Egg in the soft, graceful, simple bend of shank and stem, as well as the seamless curve of the front face and overall positioning of the bowl. Aside from the Holmes series, this shape was also chosen for the St. Patrick's Day 2010 edition.
