Peterson: Dracula 2012 Sandblasted (107) Fishtail
Product Number: 002-029-18411
The typical "107" shape has always possessed a lot of substance in bowl and shank, but the once welcoming robust proportions of this stout bodied Billiard transforms through the bite of Peterson's Dracula line, leaving something much more eerily sinister. Finished in a midnight black stain, blood-red stem and sandblasted to, what must be, the craggy texture of Dracula's eroded castle walls, the Dracula 2012 Sandblasted "107" successfully attempts to conjures up the title character Bram Stoker's dark classic, originally based on a combination of Vlad Tepes, a ruthless yet in some ways heroic fifteenth century ruler of Wallachia, and the notorious Countess Elizabeth Bathory of Hungary, who was more than a little lacking in terms of redeeming qualities. Don't worry though, let me reassure you that the metamorphosis is only cosmetic. The Billiard is still at home in the hand, smokes with a generous bowl and sits as patiently as your Labrador Retriever.
