About This Pipe
Peterson's 80s shape has a hunkered down, low profile bowl and large, diamond shaped shank accompanied by the dark contrast stain, that combine to create what might be the perfect Irish pub pipe. I'm not sure what it is, but low and stout, this is a pipe that would go with a fine heavy blend and a pint of Guinness. As a second thought, looking at this fine vertical grain and the resulting alternating striations of light and dark. make that a Black & Tan.
