Sherlock Holmes Sandblasted Hansom Fishtail Tobacco Pipe

Of all the shapes which originate from the Return of Sherlock Holmes line, the "XL26" is perhaps the biggest stand-out in terms of the Peterson-esque unorthodoxy of its shaping. What we have here is a strange concoction of a tall, narrow Acorn, stout-stemmed bent Bulldog, and more than a little suggestion of Calabash. Strangely enough, this admixture works rather well, producing a design which is, to say the least, imaginative - and definitely deep of chamber. Here it's presented in a rich, dark sandblasted finish with a deep-red stain and completed with a bright sterling silver band.
