About This Pipe
Corresponding to the "Hudson" from the popular (but rather more pricey) Sherlock Holmes Series, the "XL21" is a relatively conservative member of that particular family. Many of the Sherlock series pipes were hybrids of multiple classic shapes, whereas the "XL21" is in essence a thick-shanked, heavy, straight Bulldog, whose unusually strong transition is perhaps its most obvious quirk.
