Smooth Bent Ball with Horn Tobacco Pipe

American master, Todd Johnson, has served as teacher and mentor to Brad, and much of Todd's superlative sense of balance and proportion appears to have been (quite) successfully passed to his student. The juxtaposition of shank and bowl is stellar, just enough travel on the underside of the shank to boost the identity of the bowl, without any sense of the contrived. A well defined ridge on the bottom right of the shank transforms the same into a beautiful, elongated tear drop. From a wonderfully executed rim interior, to the horn at the mount, this pipe is a keeper.
