Small and trim even when compared to the standards of Dunhill Group 1 briars, this Rad Davis straight Dublin seems to go beyond even pocket-pipe proportions, and into the realm of the simply eccentric. Maybe the idea behind this design was Rad simply wanting to see just how small he could make a finely-finished, properly engineered pipe. The answer, evidently, is very small indeed - this sprightly little classic sports dead-on drilling, a chamber that would do just as well for both quicker smokes or some folded flake (i.e. small, but not impractically so), a fine cumberland stem, and downright excellent ring grain.
