This is my favorite kind of Rad Davis pipe. Excellent bowl shaping paired with the kind of shank and stem that adds up to a solid, balanced composition. Light weight, modest in size, thick walled and firm in the hand, this is the kind of pipe that was born to see a lot of action. But most of all, I love Rad's stain and sandblast combo. This piece shows off some wicked sweet ring and fan grain, which is made all the more prominent thanks to the two-tone burgundy over maroon finish Rad does so extremely well. The cumberland stem makes for a nice touch. Beautiful stuff.
