The standard foundation of the Italian school is the neoclassical style, defined by traditional English/French shapes rendered with extra-capacious, typically quite broader bowls. Well, here the Radices certainly toss in plenty of extra capacity, but evidently chose to focus on emphasizing the vertical, rather than horizontal presence of the bowl. To put it another way, this Radice straight Dublin could put a lot of Stack designs to shame. Fortunately, to accompany the extra-long smoke this Dublin is sure to provide, they've also offered up one very pleasing texture, in the form of their signature, hand-carved Underwood finish.
