Luigi's "Dark" finish is one of his most striking, and perhaps all the more so because of how different it is than all his others. Most Radice finishes are of an obviously warm character, ranging from the lightness of the "Clear", or the amber hues of the "Underwood", to the extreme richness of the "Rubino". The "Dark", however, is a pure chic ebony look... at a distance. Get closer and you'll see it is in fact a contrast stain consisting of black and an ultra-dark gray, leaving a subtle, smokey impression of the briar's grain intact. And it just happens to be perfect for a trim, handsome, sleek Italian Billiard like this one.
