About This Pipe
A rustic presentation of what appears to be a complex, elegant underlying design, this Silk Cut bent Brandy has received quite a sandblasting, which has really weathered the shaping of the bowl, bringing out a lot of texture along the way. It may no longer be symmetrical in form, and the once smoothly-rolling lines of the undulating rim might now be missed at first glance, but there is a definite charm about the composition. "Decaying grandeur is still grand," as is often said of old architecture and ancient ruins, and I suppose the same holds true for sandblasted grandeur as well, when it's handled right.
