Well, if the detailed carving of the underside of a certain pipe reminds you of the scroll work on a Willhelm cello.... it might be a Rasmussen.
If the broad, sweeping shank ends in plateau and has a silver ring which has been expertly integrated into the rugged crags and crevices of said plateau around the opening of the mortise.... it might be a Rasmussen.
If the stem is a stunning structure begotten of the seamless marriage of ebonite and Mazur birch... well sir, it might be a Kent Rasmussen.
If the grain stands straight and strong with only the lightest of contrast staining, the large bowl is polished just as smoothly inside as it is out, and despite its size the pipe remains well balanced and comfortable..... Boy Howdy! It might be a Kent Rasmussen!
