Bent Dublin (Two Star) Tobacco Pipe

Assuming this sku# is correct, this is the eightieth Kent Rasmussen that we have had for sale. Oddly enough, though we have had similar shapes from the master before, this is only the fifth one that we have titled as a bent dublin. The overarching feel of the others that I (personally) might have classified as a dublin, possessed a wee bit flatter arc to the shank than the specimen before you. The bowl of this dublin features a rim that softly rises all the way to the tobacco chamber, possesses a flattened radius and an elongation of the bowl that loses no symmetry in it's execution. The plane of the heel carries all the way along the bottom of the shank, creating a charmingly cool rocker within a pipe whose shape maintains a definite gravitas. The grain is wonderful, and consistent, the totality of wash being confined to an area far smaller than a dime on the fore of the bowl. Bravo, Kent!
