Though one of Rinaldo's lighter and handier designs, this bent Bulldog is still shaped to sturdy proportions. The lines are quite firm themselves, and their clean, smooth, controlled flow calls to mind the work of American pipe-designer Ed Burak. Whether the resemblance to Ed's work was the deliberate result of inspiration, or if it's just one of those cases where two different approaches to design produce a convergent evolution, I cannot say. Either way, it still makes for one really smart and efficiently sculpted briar.
