About This Pipe
Savinelli's odd combination of Churchwarden-length stem and pocket/opera pipe oval bowl, I can't help but think of the "901" Churchwarden as the toucan of the pipe world - lovely to look at, but you'll be damned if you can reason out why it was made that way to begin with. There is, perhaps, somewhere out there an obscure nation in which everyone has very deep, but also very slender pockets - and likewise in which there is an unusually large market for pipes that will fit them.
