About This Pipe

Real men smoke Apples. The whole class of Apple shapes (Prince, Author, Apple, etc.) are certainly among the less inherently masculine classic shapes. A big, classic straight Billiard or Canadian shouts masculinity. On the other hand, those are the shapes that Monty Python's lumberjack would smoke. Apple shapes, though, they say that the smoker doesn't need a giant long-shanked Canadian to feel comfortable about himself.ah, well, crap, I just like Apple shapes. And Princes. And Authors. And all those other unmasculine shapes. And little pipes. And I'm ok with that. Like this one. Nicely proportioned bowl and shank combine with a lovely coppery stem to make for a really delightful little composition. At least the dark stain and rustication are pretty masculine features. And, like most guys, I like not having to spend a bundle to get things I like and, at just over $80, you can get your very own slightly unmasculine Apple shape (which is lovely, by the way) with decidedly masculine rustication and stain.
