About This Pipe
This larger lovat shape (larger, that is, than the "701") is something of a rarity around here; we've only managed to get our hands on a few previous examples. It is in essence a heftier version of the "701", with much the same fine shaping rendered in a considerably more stout interpretation. This example features a lighter stain than most pipes in the Silver series, serving to more fully display the "English" grain pattern: that of copious birdseye on either flank and bands of straight grain running up and down the center.
